A 30 year old man presents to the emergency department after traumatic amputation below his left knee, and has sustaine head injury following road traffic accident. There is ongoing blood loss despite applying tourniquet to left thigh, which is estimated to be around 1-1.5 liters. Ct head shows haemorrhage with midline shift of 7mm. this patient is categorised as ASA
