Therefore, the use of ECT is prohibited in patients with known space occupying lesion (brain tumor) or head injury, cerebral (intracranial) aneurysm. Relative : - Recent myocardial infarction, severe hypeension, cerebrovascular accident, severe pulmonary disease, Retinal detachment, Pheochromocytoma.
