In histological sections apoptotic cell appears as round or oval mass of intensely eosinophilic cytoplasm with dens nucleus chromatin fragments. Note : o Cell shrinkage and fragmentation allow the cells to be efficienccy phagocytosed without release of proinflammatory cellular component.
