Description: The gastroduodenal aery is the branch of the common hepatic aery. It passes inferiorly behind the 1st pa of the duodenum and bifurcates into right gastroepiploic aery and superior pancreaticoduodenal aery. Gastroduodenal aery provides blood to the distal pa of the stomach, the duodenum proximal poion and to pancreatic head indirectly through the posterior and anterior and superior pancreaticoduodenal aery.
