Pleural effusion has got an insidious onset with breathlessness,with or without cough and pleuritic chest pain.In pneumothorax,the most common symptoms are sudden- onset unilateral pleuritic chest pain or breathlessness.In MI,pain is the cardinal symptom with breathlessness,vomiting & collapse.
