Description: Trans-scrotal biopsy is contraindicated in the diagnostic workup of a suspected testicular neoplasm, as this procedure can disrupt regional lymphatics, potentially altering the otherwise predictable nodal spread. The preferred diagnostic and therapeutic procedure for a testicular mass is radical inguinal orchiectomy.
