Nocardia is stained by all, EXCEPT:

Correct Answer: Albe's stain
Description: Nocardia species are Gram-positive, catalase positive, rod-shaped bacteria that show true branching both in culture and in stains from clinical lesions. The species most common in human infection (N asteroides and N brasiliensis) are weakly acid-fast. Nocardia typically exhibit varying degrees of acid fastness due to the mycolic acid content of the cell wall. Mucin stains can also stain nocardia. Albe stain is used to demonstrate metachromatic granules in corynebacterium diphtheriae. Ref: Ray C.G., Ryan K.J. (2010). Chapter 28. Actinomyces and Nocardia. In C.G. Ray, K.J.
