(so rupture of aoic aneurysm is the most unlikely cause of ATI. ) AKI is an ominous complication of burns affecting 25%of individuals with >10%total body surface area involvement . In addition to hypovolemia, burns and acute pancreatitis both lead to dysregulated inflammation and increased risk of sepsis and acute lung injury which facilitate the development of AKI.
