In retinal sealing/retinopexy, what is used?
Correct Answer: Sulphur hexafluoride
Description: The gases commonly employed for tamponading the retina are sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) or perfluoropropane (C3F8). These are injected after sealing the breaks with cryopaxy.
