Description: In Nothnagel's syndrome the area of lesion is superior cerebellar peduncle. These patients presents with ipsilateral third nerve paresis and cerebellar ataxia. In Benedict's syndrome the lesion is in the area of red nucleus. Patients presents with contralateral hemitremor with ipsilateral third nerve paresis. Claude's syndrome has features of both Nothnagel's and Benedict's syndrome. In Weber's syndrome the lesion is in the coicospinal tract.
