Epidemiology
Woman > men
30 - 50 years old
Most commonly in the dominant wrist
Pathophysiology
Thickening and swelling of extensor retinaculum causes increased tendon friction
NOT considered an inflammatory process
Prognosis
Most cases resolve with non-operative management
High recurrence rate
