An internal hordeolum, which is very rare, results from suppurative inflammation of a meibomian gland. Sometimes cellulitis accompanies hordeola Chalazion/Meibomian or Tarsal cyst is chronic, sterile and lipogranulomatous inflammation of meibomian gland.
