Cholinesterase regenerator compounds (oximes) o Pralidoxime is most commonly used oxime. o Unlike atropine, they antagonize both muscarinic and nicotinic effects. o They antagonize only peripheral effects, but not central effects except for diacetylmonoxime (DAM) which crosses BBB and antagonizes central effects also.
