Fumarate is conveed to malate and then to oxaloacetate in TCA cycle. Oxaloacetate undergoes transamination to produce aspaate which enters urea cycle. However, Fumarate is not an amino acid so amino acid linking Kreb's cycle and Urea cycle is aspaate.
