Pores of Kohn are enlarged that septa appear to be floating or protrude blindly into alveolar spaces with a club-shaped end. Prolonged vasoconstriction leads to changes of pulmonary aerial hypeension. Alveolar walls are destroyed - decrease in the capillary bed area.
