Description: Scheuermann's osteochondritis has autosomal dominant inheritance. It commonly affects adolescent boys. It is characterised by irregular ossification of veebral endplates and dorsal kyphosis. Most patients are asymptomatic. It can present with backache which is aggravated by exercise.
