The veins run into a plexus around the anterolateral aspects of the prostate, posterior to the arcuate pubic ligament and the lower part of symphysis pubis, anterior to the bladder and prostate.b. The chief tributary is the deep dorsal vein of the penis. The plexus also receives anterior vesical and prostatic rami (which connect with the vesical plexus and internal pudendal vein), and drains into vesical and internal iliac veins.c. The prostatic venous plexus is continuous superiorly with the vesical venous plexus and communicates posteriorly with the internal vertebral venous plexus.
