Description: Hemolytic jaundice results from excessive RBC destruction.there is increased release of Hb that leads to overproduction of bilirubin. Hyperbilirubinemia develops whn the capacity of liver to conjugate large amt of bilirubin is exceeded. There is also increased urinary excretion of urobilinogen.
