Description: Anomic aphasia: occurs due to lesion in angular gyrus. This is most commonly seen in head trauma, metabolic encephalopathy and alzheimers disease. In anomic aphasia there is trouble only in understanding picture or written language, understanding of speech or auditory information is normal.
