A 30 year old male with family history of glaucoma presents with headache. On examination IOP is 22 and 24 in right and left eye respectively. Angles were open on gonioscopy. No visual field defects were noted. True statement regarding the management of this patient is:-

Correct Answer: Ocular hypeension -No intervention required
Description: Ocular hypeension When IOP is persistently>21mmhg with no visual field and optic nerve head changes. Should be annually monitored by examination of optic disc ,perimetry and record of IOP. Treatment is not required till glaucomatous damage is documented.
