It usually bilateral, asymmetrical and commonly involves the upper lobes of the lungs. * In pneumothorax, the lung will be collapsed towards the hilum and visceral pleural reflection is seen.* Visceral pleural reflection helps us to differentiate between pneumothorax and vanishing lung syndrome.
