Description: D i.e. Antidote should be given Treatment of choice for H2SO4, HAI03 &HC1 is use of antidotesQ as weak solutions of noncarbonated alkalies like CaO, MgO etc., non flatulent antacids. And if these are not available then wall scrapings which contain calcium alkaline or demulcent drinks like barley or starch water & egg albumin or milk are given as an antidote Treatment plan of corrosive acid (H2SO4, HNO3, HC1) poisoning. Emesis, Gastric savage with stomach tube is contraindicatedQ for fear of stomach rupture Drinking plenty of plain water to dilute acid is advised; but not so much to overdistend & ease stomach rupture Antidote should be given (treatment of choice) in forms of Non carbonated weak alkalies (carbonate alkalies should not be used as they form gas & over distend stomach) - Non flatulent antacids Demulcent drinks as barley or starch water Fresh unboiled egg albumin or milk.
