Hypothalmic obesity, diabetes insipidus and hyperprolactinemia are more often d/t local tumor effects and surgery. Thyroid and ovarian failure often occurs d/t CSI d/t incidental irradiation of these organs. Other long term somatic complications include permanent hair loss, wound healing problems, softening of bone and ligaments of spine and spinal growth impairment and small head size (musculo-skeletal problems)Q.
