In multiple Myeloma lytic lesions of spine are usually associated with some collapse & soft tissue extension i.e. paraveebral soft tissue shadows (differentiation from Metastasis). Differentiation from inflamatory lesions can be made as the interveebral disc space & aicular surfaces are not affected.
