It is considered as surgery of choice as it re-establishes the lacrimal drainage.# Dacryocystectomy (DCT). It should be performed only when DCR is contraindicated.# Conjunctivodacryocystorhinostomy (CDCR). It is performed in the presence of blocked canaliculi.
