In DCT damage , inability to acidify urine is seen leading to urine pH >5.5 A causes normal anion gap acidosis. A 1 has calcium loss in urine leading to renal rickets but not nutritional deficiency of vitamin D3. Vitamin D deficiency is seen with Chronic Renal failure.
