Description: In Acoustic Neuroma Loss of corneal reflex is seen – due to the involvement of Tringeminal nerve Tinnitus – due to pressure on cochlear nerve Large tumors can cause diplopia As far as facial nerve palsy is concerned – Scott Brown 7th/ed vol-3 pg 3931 “Vestibular schwannomas, although inevitably grossly distort the VIIth nerve, very rarely present as a VIIth nerve palsy. If there is a clinical evidence of a cerebellopontine angle lesion and if the VIIth nerve is involved, alternative pathology is more likely”.
