Investigations: CSF findings: Albumin - cytological disassociation, CSF pleocytosis with cells > 50/cu mm is against diagnosis of GBS. Prognosis: recovery is usually unremarkable, although complete recovery may not be there. Treatment: Both plasmapheresis and IVIG are equally effective.
