Description: Distribution of Elastic Cailage - It forms the 'skeletal' basis of the auricle (or pinna) and of the lateral pa of the external acoustic meatus. The wall of the medial pa of the auditory tube is made of elastic cailage. The epiglottis and two small laryngeal cailages (corniculate and cuneiform) consist of elastic cailage. The apical pa of the arytenoid cailage contains elastic fibres but the major poion of it is hyaline.
