Atrophy-Normal brain parenchyma of a young adult compared with Atrophy of the brain. Note made is of loss of brain substance that narrows the gyri and widens the sulci. Apoptosis- The shown cell is reduced in size, contains brightly eosinophilic cytoplasm and a condensed nucleus.
